Dark Angel Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 (edited) Hello. I received the following email today (I know it is total bull): ------------------------------------------------------- Dear user of "Adnddownloads.com" mailing system, We warn you about some attacks on your e-mail account. Your computer may contain viruses, in order to keep your computer and e-mail account safe, please, follow the instructions. Pay attention on attached file. Archive password: Sincerely, The Adnddownloads.com team http://www.adnddownloads.com -------------------------------------------------------- I know it's junk because I'm the ADnD Downloads Team and I've never sent this. But now someone sends this using my mail system (I guess). The reply address is administration@adnddownloads.com (an address I'm not using). What can I do to stop that. Ha yeah, a virus comes with the message. My users might get it if they open the file before I warn them. Is their a way to be protected against this junk? Thanks! [Mod Edit: Please keep the language respectable.] Edited March 17, 2004 by TCH-MikeJ Quote
