Ok, I know that I am doing something so terribly stupid for this counter not to be working, but I just don't know what it is that I am or am not doing. Help!

Oh, the counter isn't for functionality, obviously, because when I set it up, I set it to start with some 40,000+ number, but when I go to our site, it displays number one!!!

The site is for our church... no comments please about the starting number. The site is: St. Odilia .

I'd deeply appreciate any help!

Thanks,

;) Welcome to the Family, Sue!

Don't know if your FP extensions may be causing the problems or not. They may be corrupt. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling them through cpanel.

The counter really isn't necessary since you can get your page hits using AwStats in cpanel. Just a thought.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. It seems that uninstalling and re-installing the extensions did the trick. Duh... why didn't I think of that? Oh well... at least it's working now.

I use the stats at cpanel and absolutely love cpanel, but for the church people, they react to visuals and the counter should make them happy.

Thanks again for all your guru wizardry!!

Sue
