tr4nc3 Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 I think I remember seeing a thread here once where you could login to cpanel like so... http://username:password@******/cpanel or http://username:password@******:2082 I try that and I get 'Invalid syntax error'... I would like to setup an easier way to access the cpanel of my accounts. Any ideas? Thanks! Quote
borfast Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Works just fine for me! Could be the browser... are you using MS Internet Destro..err... Explorer? I've read somwhere that MS was going to drop IE's support for the "http://username:password@www.website.com" authentication. No big deal, right? It's just another standard that Microsoft is ignoring but who cares, right? Quote
tr4nc3 Posted February 29, 2004 Author Posted February 29, 2004 Ahhh man! Yeah it's true, dammit. I can get in fine with any mozilla browser. That is just super lame! Ohh well.. Thanks for the info. I might as well right a note to M$ asking them to stick to at least this one standard. Thanks Raul Quote
