Semi-auto Login To Cpanel?

I think I remember seeing a thread here once where you could login to cpanel like so...

 

http://username:password@******/cpanel

 

or

 

http://username:password@******:2082

 

I try that and I get 'Invalid syntax error'...

 

I would like to setup an easier way to access the cpanel of my accounts.

 

Any ideas?

Could be the browser... are you using MS Internet Destro..err... Explorer?

 

I've read somwhere that MS was going to drop IE's support for the "http://username:password@www.website.com" authentication. No big deal, right? It's just another standard that Microsoft is ignoring but who cares, right?

Ahhh man! Yeah it's true, dammit. I can get in fine with any mozilla browser. That is just super lame! Ohh well.. Thanks for the info. I might as well right a note to M$ asking them to stick to at least this one standard.
