Guestbook Connection Error

Hi,

 

I was having a problem signing into my advanced guestbook to fix some posts. Now I can not connect to the guestbook. I receive the following message:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'pseuwmc_agbook1@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/pseuwmc/public_html/post/lib/mysql.class.php on line 23

All I wanted to do was administer my guestbook. I have never been able to log in to the guestbook.

 

Now, I need to clean up the mess I made and then set it up so I can sign into the guestbook in the future.

 

I know this is long winded, but any help will be appreciated.

Steve, if you could not login with the default

test and 123 as user and password,

 

and if adding a user to the guestbook

from cpanel > Manage MySql

and near the bottom you can create a new user,

then just above that, add the new user to the guest book.

 

(Look near the top to see the name of the guest book

like cpanelname_agbook1

just add the new user to that database)

 

if all that did not help,

then I think you need to ask support for help

(help desk link at top of page).
