louis Jobe Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 I read where the number of visitors is how many who have visited my site, and that pages viewed is how many pages they visited. That seems logical to me however, I have just started a new site and have only one page published at this time. I looked at the AWStats information and I do not understand how they come up with the numbers. For instance one day I had 6 visits and 192 pages viewed. How can this be? Quote
natimage Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 I'm not sure...it could be related to you doing some work on the page and viewing it multiple times. Here's a link where you can read more about the "meaning" of different AWStats verbage: http://awstats.sourceforge.net/docs/awstats_glossary.html Welcome to the Family!! Quote
louis Jobe Posted January 27, 2004 Author Posted January 27, 2004 Thanks but I am not presently working on the site, I simply have a one page starter site and a few people know about it. Each day there are from 1 to 6 visitors check it out but always the pages visited are far more than the number of visitors. Thanks for the welcome!! Quote
