I need to upgrade to a dedicated server in the very near future (this week). I have a few questions about the process.

 

Are there any differences in the server environments that I need to account for? (cPanel, PHP settings, etc...)

 

How long does the migration take? I assume there will be a delay for DNS propagation, correct?

 

Will email sent to addresses on my domain in the meantime be lost?
