One of the problems is that i think I for some novice secrew ups happens to have info in 2 guestbookdatabases. Q: How (if possible) do I import info from one db to another? -Thomas Quote
Lianna Posted January 7, 2004 Posted January 7, 2004 Thomas, To delete the advanced guestbook, you have to literally delete the parts: Delete the user from the db Delete the user Delete the db Delete the directory that houses the guestbook files. Then you can start over. How to import the data from one db to another? Well, before you start deleting anything, make a backup copy of the db's, both of them. This might take some finesse and conjuring. It really depends on how the data is stored by the Advanced Guestbook. If you 'd like me to take a look and combine your data, just drop me a PM.
