congdon Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 Hi - I'm wanting to enable DNS based Spam Filtering in Squirrelmail. When I turn it on, I'm unable to read my e-mail in Squirrelmail as it displays IMAP error msgs. Is this option supported byTotalChoice in SquirrelMail? Quote
Lianna Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 Is this by using the SquirrelMail that is preinstalled by TCH or have you installed SquirrelMail yourself? The reason I ask is that from the TCH install, I cannot find a reference to DNS spam filtering. Can you get me some more specifics as to how you "turn it on" in SquirrelMail? Quote
congdon Posted December 31, 2003 Author Posted December 31, 2003 Hi - This is the TCH installed Squirrelmail. In Squirrelmail, if you goto options, towards the bottom on the left hand column, is "SPAM Filters". The particular DNS filter I was trying to enable was the Spamcop filter. I should also say, that I'm accessing squirrelmail by the following url: www.congdon.ws/sqmail . This appears to be a different install of squirrelmail than www.congdon.ws/webmail . Quote
Lianna Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 (edited) Whoa! I didn't realize those two options took you to different places. Gads, learn somethin new everyday. Can you tell me which list you are wanting to use? Also, atop my SPAM options screen, it says, "WARNING! Tell your admin to set the SpamFilters_YourHop variable" ...hmmmm.
