Hi,

I am new to the forum, so be gentle with me :whip:

I have the latest version of Cute FTP running under Windows 98SE. I noticed a while ago that a third website I was running wasn't being remembered by the site manager.

After a months, I finally emailed Globalscape yesterday. They suggested checking the sm.dat file wasn't read only.It isn't. Then they suggested de-installing the software, deleting the sm.dat file, rebooting, then re-installing from a link.

I tried this (twice!) but it still doesn't work.

Has anybody got any ideas as it is a real pain having to re-enter the details for 4 sites each time I want to edit anything?

Thanks.

I use CuteSiteBuilder not CuteFTP, so I don't have much to offer except, did you try to uninstall, reboot and reinstall the program? Maybe you have a corruption that needs to be corrected that way.

Also, did you give the 3rd and 4th sites UNIQUE names? Make sure the names do not have characters (apostrophe, exclamation, etc. in the names as characters can interfer).
