30SoS Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Hi, all. We've just started working with a web design company that is doing a new site for us and planning to take care of all updates, maintenance, etc. so I need to get them login info (username/password). My question is this... Do I need to give them the 'master' login info that was assigned to me when I signed on with TCH or is there a way to set them up with their own '3rd party' username and password? Just wondering since I everything you hear says never to give out your personal login info. Let me know. Thanks! Quote
TCH-Andy Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Hi 30SoS I would set up an FTP account for them - that way they can upload all the files etc. they won't be able to set up email accounts and such like for you, but you will then be relatively safe. we do not provide any "3rd party" password to cpanel.
