beerman Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 I'm going to use a different form program that actually has an installer with it that helps install the script and configure it for me. But I'm inexperienced on how to actually install it from either a command line or a web browser under my user id. How do I get to running my browser under my user id? I believe I need to use cgiwrap... - any suggestions or pointers - here are the instructions I received for installing via CGI or Command line. THANKS - Beerman! CGI If you are going to run the installer through your browser, remove the first line (the one beginning with #!) unless you are using cgiwrap (not php- cgiwrap), and point your browser to the regkey.html file. Running from the browser, the installer **MUST** be run under your user ID. Huh? or COMMAND LINE If you are going to run the installer from the command line, edit the first line of the file to point to your PHP interpreter. If you don't know where the PHP interpreter is on your system, contact your system administrator. Be sure to leave the #! at the beginning of the line and the -q at the end. Put the installer in the directory where you want Phormation to be, and execute it. Rock Sign Quote
TCH-Sales Posted December 5, 2003 Posted December 5, 2003 You should be able to use cgiwrap I belive (I could be wrong) but if not then you should really try out this alternative: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/help/id65.htm Quote
