Duilio Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 Hi my url is www.evzla.com. I recieved your welcome mail yesterday... Well, I was testing my new server and I just have three words for you: 'you are awesome' the cpanel, php manager, cgi scripts, mail, stats, space disk, etc, etc... are great I highly recommend TotalChoice Hosting well, my problem.. I can't get files on folders example: http://www.domain.com/test.htm works, but http://www.domain.com/folder/test.htm no. I'm using IE like my ftp client thanx for your support. regards Quote
rayners Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 Where is this folder located? Is it in your top level directory (i.e. alongside public_ftp, public_html, and www)? Or is it in the public_html or www directory? If it's in the top level directory, you will need to move the folder into public_html or www. If it's already there, check the permissions on it. Quote
Duilio Posted January 20, 2003 Author Posted January 20, 2003 it's already there.. and the permissions are fine Quote
rayners Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 What's the folder name and what specific error code are you getting (403, 404, 500, etc)? You can also check your Error Log through CPanel and that may give you some idea as to what might be going wrong. Quote
Duilio Posted January 20, 2003 Author Posted January 20, 2003 I found the problem when you create subdomains, the server creates a folder with the same name to make the redirection. So, when I upload some file on those folders it doesn't work... hope it helps to someone else Quote
