Seperate Username For Domain Account And Hosting Account?

Hello-

 

I can log into the tch billing side just fine: https://billing.totalchoicehosting.com/clientarea.php

 

I am looking to transfer my domain listing to you instead of another company. I am trying to order and pay for the domain but the folowing website says it doesn't recognize me.

Do I need to have a seperate account for the domain side and the hosting side? When I try to enter my hosting side username and password on the domain side it rejects it, however does recognize that another account exists with my username.

Please note that hosting and domain management are different and handling with separate systems - so you 'll need to have different logins for both.

Yet they still recognize my username from the other account and thus won't let me register using the same account name? That seems odd to me. Why would you not want all my billing together?
