jos Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Is there a way to do this? I would like to set a maximum of, say, 20MB per email to prevent people from clogging up my mailbox, inadvertently or otherwise. Ideally, the server would reject the sender’s email with the message that its total size exceeds the maximum allowed. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 There is no way to limit the size of a single message but there is a way to limit the size of the mailbox itself in cPanel under Email Accounts. Quote
jos Posted December 16, 2012 Author Posted December 16, 2012 Thanks, Bruce. Is this because it will have to be a server-wide setting i.e. it would affect others using the same server? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 There doesn't seem to be an option for it in cPanel other than a mailbox quota. Guess it was a cPanel decision. Quote
