jackaroo Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Is it possible to determine if mail being sent from a virtual hosting server is being blocked because one of the accounts is a source of spam? If so, can this be circumvented by using a third party mail server? Thanks, Jack Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 If you have the IP address you can go to SORBS and find out if it is blacklisted. If it is a TCH server report it at the help desk and the offending party will be dealt with. Quote
jackaroo Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 If you have the IP address you can go to SORBS and find out if it is blacklisted. If it is a TCH server report it at the help desk and the offending party will be dealt with. The IP address of my (your) virtual server does not show up in the SORBS database. If I send mail from the server to my myself (isp) I do not receive it. If I send mail from the server to myself, via a third party mail server, I DO receive it. Does this mean that my isp is blocking mail from the server? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Possibly, you can open a ticket with the help desk and they can help you get it sorted out. Quote
