mrb712 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I have an old site hosted here, the domain name is going to expire this summer, and I'm not going to continue the site. I'm going to cancel my hosting service and remove the files from the host, but I would like the e-mail to remain active until the domain expires. Is it possible to send and receive e-mail even though I don't have a host? Can someone suggest how I can make this work -- that is, if it can work? Thanks, Michael Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 You can´t receive email unless you have a host (ie a server that handles your email). The easiest when it comes to the removal of the site is to submit a ticket with the helpdesk and explain you want the website removed but keeping the email until domain expires, and they will help you.
