Greta Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I've been having problems lately with the automated messages that get sent from our site to members so they can active their account / be notified of new messages / comments on their profile etc. Every couple of weeks they get sent to me as Mail Delivery Failed. When I open a ticket the problem is quickly dealt with but then a couple of weeks later the same thing always happens again and nobody explains why it is happening. The returned messages always say the same thing, although the number following Gid changes: Gid 99 is not permitted to relay mail, or has directly called /usr/sbin/exim instead of /usr/sbin/sendmail. Has anyone else encountered the same problem and what did you have to do to get a permanent fix please? Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I would reopen the ticket and ask the helpdesk if they somehow can make it permanent or have any ideas how to fix it since from what I understand when reading about it is a server issue. Quote
