Hi Guys! Heading pretty much says it all. I have zipped and uploaded a folder containing 28 sub-folders to the appropriate place within my public_html. When I try to extract the contents I get the following and nothing more:

songs.zip

File Type: Zip archive data, at least v1.0 to extract

Archive: songs.zip

replace songs/a/.htaccess? [y]es, [n]o, [A]ll, [N]one, [r]ename: NULL

(assuming [N]one)

That's it. I should mention that those aren't clickable choices either. There are 34,000 files in there too. :shocking::tongue_ss: Hm, 29 .htaccess files as well. Does this mean I have to remove all the .htaccess and repack and try again? I've never had this problem before.

But I did switch servers. Perhaps the kinks aren't all worked out yet?

Thanks!

I have found that when extracting Zip files on the server if anything in the archive is already on the server the extraction does not work. So insure that content on the server does not exist in the archive and you should be fine. But as Thomas says you can open a ticket and ask the techs to extract the contents for you using the overwrite option which you don't have access to.

Thanks. I did have support help me with this. All is well.

Let me thank TCH_Ellis for his help. I screwed up my archive and he was patient and helpful and bailed me out.! :tongue_ss:
