TCH-Thomas Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 If you have other domains parked on this account and they do not show up, please open a ticket and the techs will look in to it (link on top of page and in my signature). We mods have no access to either your account or your server. Quote
nayagi Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 (edited) HI (need help immediately ... pls) I have created a pop account for the domain autoglassdelivered.com as admin@autoglassdelivered.com. I cant send mail from outlook to admin@autoglassdelivered.com. But i can send mail from root@sever.domain.com from inside (putty). But when i send from outlook , outside to that account , i get a delivery failure bounce back message to the sender.. I do dont find any error messages in the exim_mainlog. TCH-Bruce Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Hi, is your account hosted here at TotalChoice? We are having a hard time understanding what help you need. You say you are using Putty. If you are hosted at TCH do you have a dedicated server? Because we do not allow shell access on virtual accounts. We can't give answers to how other hosting companies systems may be configured. MikeJ Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Based on your domain, it appears you are hosting with another provider that provides fully managed servers (unless your are colocating with them or using service from another provider that does). You should make use of that fully managed service you are paying for and contact their support. We can't tell you how their servers are setup. You may also want to check your MX records for your domain. You have 3 MX records, two of which point to your registrar's mail servers, and one which points to apparently your server. Unless your registrar is providing forwarding mail servers, that could be causing your problem. Quote
nayagi Posted March 10, 2008 Author Posted March 10, 2008 What is meant by virtual email account? Is this account visible outside? If it can send/recieve mail to and from outside world(internet). Then what for that account is created ? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 The term was virtual account which is an account on a shared server. Quote
