I want to install Gallery V2 using Fantastico and have a question.

 

I can install it into a folder on root, such as domain/gallery

 

Is there a way I can install it two folders deep? Such as domain/parents/gallery I want to place this into a folder that is password protected and instead of creating two folders with two access controls lists, I want to place this two folders deep so I can keep my data cleaned up.

Sorry, not that I know of but Gallery has a built in password system apart the usual "members area" function I believe.

Thanks for the info. I have setup my site where having the folder on the root will work. I have used Gallery before with another site I setup and I have used passwords for that one, but I am setting this new site up for a daycare center and want to add a second level of security to the photos on the site.

You can do it if you manually install Gallery.

 

Have you tried creating the parent sub folder you want to install gallery into? Not sure if it (Fantastico) will work or not.
