Currently I use "Brand X" (boo-hiss!) and I don't like their service. I was recommended to look here and am pretty impressed thus far with what I've found. What is the TCH policy on transferring an existing site? Is there any cost beyond the purchase of a hosting package? Thanks in advance! FWIW the website is at www.danielgbraun.com if anyone wants to see it.

Welcome to the forums CNW 6000 :)

 

If your current host is using cPanel your site can possibly be transferred by the techs at no additional cost to you. If your current host is not using cPanel then you would have to download your entire site from your current host and upload it to your new web space here.
