rfrassetti Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Hello, Approx. once a month or every other month I send out an email with a link to my newsletter using "group mail" a free program I found several years ago that works great for my purposes. There are less than 300 names on the list and has never caused me a problem. Today however after I sent my mailing my inbox got deluged with undeliverable notices. I was shocked when the messages informed me the problem was on my end, not with the recipients. Below is a copy of the message I received, note that I have xxxx'ed out the recipients email address for their privacy: Date: Tue, 11 Dec 2007 14:23:22 -0500 [02:23:22 PM EST] From: Mail Delivery System <Mailer-Daemon@server24.tchmachines.com> To: newsletter@frassettirealtors.com Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: xxxxx@xxxxxxx.net Domain frassettirealtors.com has exceeded the max emails per hour. Message discarded. I have never known about a maximum amount of emails per hour, how can this be removed? Thanks, Bob Frassetti Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 You can not remove the amount of emails TCH will allow you to send per time. So you will need to submit a ticket to the helpdesk and ask them about the limits, since we will not discuss these limits in the forum for obvious reasons and then you will need to set your program to use those limits.
