What Do I Need To View My Raw Access Logs?

i have it in my cpanel and have downloaded my raw access logs id like to view them but nothing happens when i try to view it ...what is needed to view this kind of file?

Notepad will allow you to view the file. It's just a text file.

 

Or you can Google and find a log file analyzer which will work similar to AwStats on the server.

If the log file is a .gz file, you need to decompress it first. If you don't have an extractor, the free extractor that I found simplest to install was 7-Zip. It's just a command line utility, no Windows "install" required.
