Inu Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 (edited) I am setting up a simple site for the auto acessories and graphics site i work for. What im wondering is if i need to know mySQL to any extent to get my site on your webhosting. I've been trying to learn mySQL, but have yet to really figure out what its necessary for. I gather its for database management, but what does that mean exactly. All i seem to find is it allows you to perform complex scripts, which i dont know about. I dont plan on doing any email forms or anything like that yet. Edited October 18, 2007 by Inu Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Welcome to the forum, Inu. You don´t need to know anything about mysql to host here at TCH, plain html or php will do fine. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Welcome the forums Inu MySQL is for querying databases. If you aren't using any database software you can ignore it. Quote
