Wordpress 2.3 Coming Soon

Version 2.3 are coming soon and the wordpress people have posted a "Preparing for 2.3" post.

 

A "preparation" post is something they have never posted before (that I know of anyway), so this new version must be pretty interesting.

 

Summary of what they say is:

• Back up your blog (all wordpress files and the database).
  
• Check for the latest versions of your plugins.
  
• Read up on how to modify your theme to add tag support.
  
• And finally...Enjoy the last time you have to check for plugin updates manually, as 2.3 will do it magically behind the scenes.
