for example I have

www.bourgeois-dynamics.com listed as NS1 and NS2 totalchoicehosting.com

at securepay.net total choice domains.

www.bourgeoisdynamics.com is listed as DNS1 and DNS2 in the same system.

In cpanel, the second name parked on the first, both work fine

In general my names are a mish mash of NS1 and 2 and DNS 1 and 2's . Securepay assignes DNS by default. Support has told me that DNS does not exist and will not work, but somehow it works, sometimes , or othertimes maybe it is a source of problems.

What should the nameservers be? Should I change them all? what sort of problems will result from a mass change?

I don't seem to have dns3 or dns4 so I guess all my sites are on the older customers servers..

Thanks

DNS1/DNS2.totalchoicehosting.com are just aliases of NS1/NS2.totalchoicehosting.com. You can confirm this by pinging the nameserers from your system and noting the ips. So, both set will work. Feel free to use any of the above if you have another domain on the same server. But, if your account is located on a different server, please open a trouble ticket.
