nbrettoner Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Hello, I'm new here & would firstly like to say "Hi", & am seeking direction for some help please. I set up a website some time ago with TCH, have recently set up a new domain name & TCH have transferred the old website over to the new domain name for me. (the old website domain name has since lapsed, so the old site's in limbo-land). However the old website was in such a mess, that I want to clear the new website data & start from scratch. I've tried a couple of searches on clearing a website, but to no avail. Can some kind soul please either steer me in the right direction to find out the safest/best way to do this, or enlighten me?, please?. Quote
TCH-Andy Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Welcome to the forums Noel The easiest way is to open a ticket at the help desk and ask us to clear it for you. If you want to do it yourself, you can delete everything in the public_html folder. Quote
nbrettoner Posted July 29, 2007 Author Posted July 29, 2007 Welcome to the forums Noel Hi Bruce & Andy, Nice to be here. Thanks for the welcome, & quick 'spot-on' helpful reply. I'll have a go & delete the stuff in the public_html folder. Perhaps an 'overkill', but I'll rename & keep a copy of the default TCH https "index.htm" file. I like the links etc. cheers, Noel B Quote
