I have my hosting with you guys and host a phpBB forum on it. From the first day my users have been unable to post links to pictures hosted on imageshack. I assumed at the time that it was a phpBB problem but since looking into it at the phpBB support forum I believe it may be a server issue.

Here is a link to the thread on phpBB support - http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.p...hilit=#p2898866

Just in case the link doesn't work, here is the response I received -

This is a server-side problem - your host has decided to block POST packets containing whatever is special about the imageshack links. You'll need to ask them about it.

If your host is GODADDY or one of their related companies, you will have to request escalation to "level 2" to get support for this mod_security issue. The first-level techs do not understand nor care about it. The L2 techs know about it, and can usually fix the problem within a few minutes.

Can this be fixed on TCH?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like it´s time for an helpdesk ticket as the person in the other forum suggests.

Apart from that, why not just ask the people with the problem to use another similar service to imageshack for their images?

Oh I will do a helpdesk ticket now I've checked on here.

I currently have asked people to use other services but imageshack is most reliable and also a lot of people use the imageshack toolbar for multiple uploads.

Thanks, I'll contact the helpdesk now.
