woodygap Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I set up a new domain on Sunday evening. Waited a bit, called up the site and the file structure came up. So, I sent via ftp a copy of Wordpress to start working on it. I revisited the site on Monday evening and nothing, and nothing this evening either. I know dns propagation can bounce back and forth until fully propagated. I am suspecting it is on my end or with the nameservers at Comast. Could I ask if someone has a moment to try this address www.salemtornados.com I would like to know before I call my isp. Thanks in advance Mike Woody Quote
TCH-Don Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I am not seeing it. I would open a help desk ticket. Quote
Madmanmcp Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I don't see it yet either. Domain Name: SALEMTORNADOS.COM Registrar: WILD WEST DOMAINS, INC. Whois Server: whois.wildwestdomains.com Referral URL: http://www.wildwestdomains.com Name Server: DNS3.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM Name Server: DNS4.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM Check your welcome email and make sure dns3 and 4 are correct. If they are not you will need to log into your registrar account and correct them. I suspect they should be 1&2. Quote
woodygap Posted April 11, 2007 Author Posted April 11, 2007 It turned out to be a dns error on the server when I created the account. The nameservers were correct. Thanks to Tom and Alex for the quick response and fix. Quote
