cjcollins Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I finally bit the bullet and switched from MT to WP. I let Fantstico do the install to directory wp/. When I was mostly comfortable everything was successfully switched, I moved my mt blog directory to blog_old/, and moved wp/ to blog/. While the move went mostly well, Fantastico thinks the install is still at wp/. How can I get it to find to where I moved the install so I can have it manage the updates? Quote
TCH-Dick Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 -Locate the directory /.fantasticodata/WordPress/ in the root of your site. -Here you will find a file that will be labeled: domain|directory -Rename the file to: domain|new_directory -Then you need to edit the variable $thisscriptpath to point to the new location. Now Fantastico will look in the proper location and allow you to run updates. Quote

TCH-Bruce Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Manually updating Wordpress is a snap as well. Quote
