Problems With Subdomains

I'm trying to add a subdomain on my account, but when I do so it always times out:

 

Removed Entry from httpd.conf [a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]

 

I opened a ticket a while ago but nothing's come of that yet. Any ideas why it might be timing out?
