FilmBuffRich Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 My site (FilmBuffOnLine.com) is hosted through TotalChoice. Recently, I acquired another website (TheBlob.info), which I have folded into my own. I want people who click on any link for TheBlob.info to be directed directly to the main page my site. I went to the registrar of TheBlob.info (DomainTK) and reset the A Record to the same setting as the one supplied by my FilmBuffOnLine registrar. However, after giving things about 24 hours to propagate out, if I go to TheBlob.info all I get is a cPanel error page stating that “There is no website configured at this address.” Since you guys use cPanel, I’m thinking there is some fault on your end. Any thoughts on how to resolve this? Thanks! Quote
TCH-Don Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I think you just need to have the help desk park the new domain on top of your current domain. Quote
TCH-Don Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Oh and change the name servers to the same as your current domain. And it may take up to 72 hours for propagation to all the name severs around the world after a change. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 You need to contact TCH's help desk to have them park the domain on top of your existing domain. Quote
