htvqkoa
I tried to talk to a support person "TOM" earlier and he was absolutely no help and actually disconnected. Anyhow, I have not been able to get to CPanel on any of my computers here at home. I was informed by "TOM" that port 2082 is closed. I need to know how to open port 2082, if this is, in fact what needs to be done. Could someone please lend a hand? It would be greatly appreciated. TCH-Don
If http://www.yourtchdomain.com:2082 or http://www.yourtchdomain.com/cpanel does not work then reopen your ticket. if you tried to login repeatedly with the wrong user or password your IP may be blocked. Samrc
Yup...Disconcerting to get locked out of your own account, but a great protection for you too!
wampthing
Are you by any chance using a proxy server? I have some of my computers set up to use a severside internet filtering company. As a result, I can only use one port, the http port (something like 80). That makes it so that I cannot access cpanel. You might check into that. in internet explorer you would go to Tools- Internet Options- Connections- Lan Settings You might also try using a different browser.
