Coppermine Cannot Log In

This worked fine for me until this morning. When I try to login, it takes me to the login in screen; but when I click "Continue" it pops back to the index.php page as if I were a viewer of the gallery and not an administrator. With my limited scripting knowledge, I don't know how to fix this; I only know it is not properly calling the login page. (I used the Coppermine install from Fantastico.)

The Coppermine version in fantastico is a rather old version and I believed it was this version that some sort of security problem. You should upgrade your installation to the latest version (1.4.4) as soon as possible.

 

Unfortunately the Coppermine site seems to be down at the moment, but please check it from time to time and download the latest version and upgrade your installation.

 

The install package contains a step by step guide how to upgrade it, or if you run into any problems we can usually help you solve them here.

I have had the same problems. What I do is one of two things.

I usualy have the problem in IE, so when I go to Firefox, I am usualy able to log in. The other thing I do is clear my cookies and stuff.

Try it in firefox and let us know if you get it working.

Thanks! It does work fine in Firefox. The Fantistico installation was 1.4.2--I will upgrade, though, when I can get to the site.
