Please forgive if this is a FAQ - I've not found this answer so far - can we password protect a subdomain via cpanel? If yes, can someone tell me how? If no, does someone know of another way to do it?

Thanks!

Try this,

under site management click on web protect.

scroll down to the folder (subdomain name)

Click on the name, this will take you to new page,

click on the check box by the lock, and type in a name like the name of the folder.

Click on save.

Then click on the [go back] link to add a user.

type in a user and password, and click on add new user.

and that should do it. :P
