Sqmail And Conf.pl

since sqmail is standard now, maybe someone can help

 

i've installed it and have been using it with no problems since many weeks. i also managed to install a plugin which worked once.

for some reason it simply dissapeared because the option to use it was not available anywhere.

 

anyhow, short story is:

i've installed the address book import/export and

see where last login was from plugins,

1 at a time, and have enabled them each time by running the conf.pl script.

 

also, using the conf.pl script, i have changed the default supplier to read something else than "squirrelmail" (what you see right after you log in, top right).

 

each time i saved the changes, and indeed, when i run conf.pl again, they are noted.

when i downloaded the config.php file and checked it, all the changes were there too.

but............

 

nothing works!

 

the link to squirrelmail still reads 'squirrelmail', the plugins dont show!!!

 

whats wrong? the most obvious solution to me is that the config.php file is not being read? how come?
