Just curious

Cpanel shows disk usage for one of my accounts at 258MB and SQL data base usage at around 5MB. I started a Home Directory backup. The file size of this compressed backup is 386MB. I do have a large Coppermine gallery and understand that jpegs are already under compression but thought the tar.gz backup file would be somewhat closer in size to the disk usage mentioned in CPanel.

Thanks

Could have something to do with files being uploaded to Coppermine and not owned by the user account but instead by "nobody". If so the usage being stated would never be correct. PHP upload scripts usually put the file on the server as user "nobody" instead of the actual user.

There was a discussion of this previously in the forums.
