ekrimmel Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I built a construction page for my site until I finished my website by building construction-site.site and uploaded it. When I was ready to build my website I built my-website.site. I thought that the program I'm using, Go Live, would override or erase construction.site and replace it with website.site when I uploaded it but it didn't. Now all the files are on the server but I keep getting the construction page not the website when I go to the site in a browser. I looked at the options in c-panel but didn't see where I could remove files from the server. There must be a way to remove the construction site but I can't find it. Can someone help me out? stevevan Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Did you name your main page "index.html"? Quote
TCH-Don Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 If you do not have a seperate ftp program, then in cpanel look for file manager click on the folder icon for public_html click on a name of the file on the right select delete. However a seperate ftp program like CoreFTP from coreftp.com is always useful as you can mark many files at once and remove. Quote

I love coreftp, because I can set permission on more then one file at a time Quote
