Couple Of Questions

I am thinking of purchasing webhost from here...what kind of information is needed to signup (I have a verified paypal account) as I really don't want to give my mail address or telephone #

Since cpanel is the control panel(my preferred cp)

Does it come with parked & addon domain option?

Hotlink protection?

Do I need a domain?

One silly question about name server(just curious :) ):

Let say I entered 2-3 different webhost nameservers for my domain. If one of the webhost goes down....will my domain automatically point the next active working nameserver(webhost) without going through the DNS propagation again(or it doesn't work this way).

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

You have to park domains using the help desk on virtual accounts. Reseller accounts allow you to park and add-on domains.

Hotlink protection is included in cpanel.

A domain name is required to have an account. You are not permitted to use the IP number to reach your site and content except prior to propagation.

And the address and telephone number are required to prevent fraud.

You will be provided with 2 DNS servers. If one goes down the other will resolve your names instantly. I've been here over 3 years and have never had a DNS issue.

Thanks for the response. So, no addon domains are given or can be requested with shared webhost(not reseller)?
