TCH-Ryan Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 This is a very specific worm that is classified low risk by reviewing vendors for the reason that it targets exploits for programs which already have patches released. These affected programs are web site scripts that users can easily update; it is of great responsibility to every account holder that they ensure the programs on their site are maintained and updated. At that, the worm uses methods in it propagation that are tangible enough that we can create appropriate rules in our security implementations to stem off the worm from affecting user sites to any great degree. However I can not stress enough that the true solution 100% is simply if your site uses an affected program that is outdated, simply update it and the concern is removed. Quote
