I'm interested in your thoughts on how well any search engine may index my site. It's not critical to me that it is visible on search engines as it is a family site - and the people I want to visit already know how to get to it, but it would be nice to see if anyone else cares to visit my site. You are correct in your understanding of being indexed and the importance/unimportance of it. Your site is not in Google's index but now that we have added it to our family page, it will be.

 

My only SEO thoughts for you would revolve the answer to this question:

 

Would you like people searching for you to find you? Meaning if you think friends or family might ever do a search for you then it might be worth while to optimize some for say.... allan doute.
