snteran Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I wanted to add a gallery to my website but was not sure what tools TCH offers if any. I want to be able to show a group of pictures and then be able to click on an image to have it enlarge and have additional text covering the photo. Thanks, Serge Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 There is nothing in cPanel that you can install but there are several good gallery packages out there. Coppermine, Gallery and one of our members has created Snipe's Gallery script. Check the third party apps page of the help site. Quote
stevevan Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Personally, I'd recommend Coppermine. Easy to set up and configure. Quote
snteran Posted September 5, 2005 Author Posted September 5, 2005 Thanks for the advice, I just downloaded the zip file. Hopefully it is easy to configure and install. Any advice or concerns, please let me know. Thanks again, Serge Quote
jhollin1138 Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Coppermine is nice, but if you are looking for simple, have a look at SPGM. There is nothing to set-up or a need for a database. Just upload SPGM and put some pictures and their thumbnails in your "gal" folder and you are up and running. If you have any questions about setting up SPGM, feel free to ask. Although there isn't really anything to set-up. You can even add streaming video support to SPGM with SPGM-Vid found here. Quote
