llama_thumper Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 (edited) Unfortunately I get incoming spam being sent to a mailing list I administrate. The spam does not get through because only members can post to the mailing list, but I still get the notification messages about (the spam) emails pending until I discard them. Is there any way to: A) put these notification messages off or decrease their frequency (or make a digest out of them) or automatically bounce messages from everybody but the members, preferrably with a custom reply? Many thanks for any hints! Edited September 1, 2005 by llama_thumper Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Don't know if A is possible but B would be a waste of time since most spam is generated from addresses that do not exist or address that did no send them (spooofed). So doing B would basically be adding to the probem. Quote

TCH-Bruce Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Maybe some documentation will help you. Quote
