Plans Calendar (version 7.0)

Has anyone else installed or upgraded to Plans calendar (version 7.0)? I've been successfully using it for the last couple years, never any problems installing OR upgrading new versions...until now.

 

I keep receiving the 500 error; after at least seven separate fresh installs. Maybe I'll just have to wait until the next version comes out.

 

AACK!...just when I think I know what I'm doing.

Did you set the permissions as per their documentation page?

Oh no! I get the dreaded "500 internal server error"

 

    * If you used ftp to upload the files, make sure you used the correct mode (binary mode for graphics or zip files, ASCII mode for everything else.)

    * Double-check those permissions...

I would second Don's suggestion. The one time I had problems with this program I found it was the permissions. (Silly me!)

I tried to install it before I had to go to work,

had same problem

will start over tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip Don. Yes, I set the permissions as specified. But I'll go through and try it again. I'm sure it will work with some persistence.

You might check the Error Log in CPanel and see if a message indicating what the problem is was recorded there.
