ronaldp423 Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Hi everyone, The spell checker plug-in I use in WordPress quite working for no apparent reason. It now renders this error message instead; Error excuting '/usr/bin/aspell-a--lang=english --personal=home/ronpembe/public_html/wp-content/spell-plugin/aspell.personal </home/ronpembe/public_html/wp-content/spell-plugin/aspell_data_7kwgPT 2>&1' sh line1: /usr/bin/aspell: no such file or directory Isn't aspell an install on the server itself? Something TCH would do? If so, has it been uninstalled recently? I really need spell check back......can't spell worth a damn! Any help appreciated! Ron Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Aspell is no longer supported on TCH. Please see this thread. Quote

I almost submitted a support ticket, when your reply came in. I had missed this announcement. I wonder what was so bad with aspell? was it just obsolete? I think I will try out the new Ajax version floating around. Again Thanks! Ron Quote
