Is there a feature on CPanel or elsewhere to check out if you have broken links?

Or is there a program I can use?

I have tried using a freeware program but the results are extremly odd....as in

I don´t know what is going on with your account, but I would:

1) Go in to cpanel and check both the .htaccess and the redirection section to see if there are any clues there. If so, delete them.

2) Submit a ticket to the help desk and ask them if they can see anything suspicious on the account.

FYI: I checked your site and were also redirected to tripod, so it doesn´t sound like your browser has been hijacked or something.

It may have set the redirect.

If so remove it in cpanel and change your password.

TCH-Thomas, a question on Xenu

If I have a redirect to BLOCK hotlinking any pictures jpgs, bmp etc would that affect how Xenu reports?

I just tried it and it shows all jpgs etal as "forbidden" request

Also.....whats to stop ANYONE from checking my domain the way I did....it doesnt ask for a password or anything and so anyone can see my links etc?

I just checked my site with hotlink protection on and Xenu reports "forbidden" on the images.

As for the other question:

Also.....whats to stop ANYONE from checking my domain the way I did....it doesnt ask for a password or anything and so anyone can see my links etc?

I´m not sure I understand you correctly but I just tried to check one of the other sites I maintain which has a password protected folder and Xenu did not check that folder, but it did ask for my password. I never tried it out fully, so I can+t say it did check the links after getting the password.

Do you run the latest version (1.2g) of Xenu. I am thinking that there might be bugs in earlier versions that causes the checking problems.
