GroovyFish Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 I know that some of you all use the Gmail Notifier for Firefox, so I thought I would post this info here. Recently Google changed their Gmail URLs, so Gmail Notifier has stopped working. I checked out Firefox's site and the manual fix has been posted. Search for nsGMNotifierService.js on your computer under Documents and Settings. Open in Notepad and change all instances of "gmail" in a URL to "mail" (case sensitive), for example: from http://gmail.google.com/gmail to http://mail.google.com/mail It only takes a minute and my notifier worked perfectly as soon as I made the change.
