TCH-Andy Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Hi Gary, Welcome to the Forums Are you just getting the error on send? because the error message is on recieve (POP3)? From the error message I think you the option for Secure Password Authentification checked - you need to uncheck it. Quote

The connection to the server has failed. TCH-Bruce Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Welcome to the forums, Gary! Your ISP may be blocking port 25 for SMTP. You can change the SMTP port to 26 in your mail program. That should get the mail to go. If you still cannot get mail to go out then your ISP is blocking port 26 as well and you will have to use your ISP's outgoing mail server. Quote
