grimreaper169 Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Can someone help me? I know NOTHING about web suite building. Where should I start? Who should I talk to? what should I do? I am a quicq study. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 A good place to start learning how to write HTML pages would be w3schools.com. Quote
grimreaper169 Posted June 2, 2005 Author Posted June 2, 2005 Thank you guys for the welcome. I hope you don't get tired of me. Quote
stevevan Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Welcome to the forums, grimreaper169! Bruce's suggestion is probably the best as it comes from the group that sets HTML standards. However, if you do a google search for something like "HTML Tutorials", there will be plenty of sites with examples you can play with to your hearts content. (Besides, that's the fun of it, right? ) And as a last resort, you have many familiy members here who are only too willing to help! Quote
grimreaper169 Posted June 2, 2005 Author Posted June 2, 2005 I was under the impression there were templates and such that I could use is this not true? Quote
stevevan Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 That depends upon the program. I know Frontpage has templates and I believe Dreamweaver and CuteSiteBuilder do also. These all cost some money, so you might want to check out some googled links first for some ideas. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 I was under the impression there were templates and such that I could use is this not true? If you are referring to TotalChoice having templates then the answer would be no. But you can find templates in most software packages. Quote
Deverill Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 There are also templates you can download for free or cheap for use with your favorite web site editor. Just Google for "website template" and you'll find hundreds. Welcome to TCH! Quote
grimreaper169 Posted June 2, 2005 Author Posted June 2, 2005 Thank you for the email and I know better I should have started a new thread. I just didn't know if a new poster should start by posting a new thread. Quote
