TCH-Thomas Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Does anyone know if it´s complicated to translate the langage packs for Simple Machines Forum (version 1.0.3)? Reason I ask is because I have waited weeks for the swedish language pack and I can´t open a forum with out it being in swedish, so I figured it go faster if I translate it myself if it´s not too complicated Quote
borfast Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Sorry, Thomas. I'm not a SMF user so I don't know how hard it is to translate it but why don't you try it anyway? If it's easy, you'll do it quickly. If it's not that easy, I'm sure you'll still be able to do it and in doing so you will have increased your coding skills  Quote
curtis Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Thomas, goto your SMF folder then Themes / default / languages / and look at index.english.php and profile.english.php. This will give you and idea of what translating would be like. That's only 2 of about 25 that would need translating. Looks to me like quite a lot of work and time. Quote
curtis Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 (edited) Thomas, From what I've read on SMF's Forum the Sewdish Language Pack for 1.0.2 should work without any problems with 1.0.3. Edited May 10, 2005 by curtis Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 Thanks everyone. Thomas, From what I've read on SMF's Forum the Sewdish Language Pack for 1.0.2 should work without any problems with 1.0.3. Yes, I found that late late last night. I installed it and as you said it wasn´t gonna give me any big problem and it didn´t. Quote
